NON Metallic GASKET

We have developed the most efficient, performance-driven gaskets with our long industry experience . From Engineering assistance and specification of Metallic and nonMetallic materials, to the selection of the most cost-efficient production process, we can help you maximize the performance of your product and your budget.

Following the requirement of world standards , quality is our main focus in manufacture of our gaskets. We monitor and control the quality and consistency with the co-operation of reputed and recognized international organizations .

Soft Gasket – Materials

Soft Gasket material is defined as the gasket material that is easily compressed under a low bolt load. A soft gasket material can be selected from a large variety of rubbers (neoprene, viton, SBR, EPDM, etc.), PTFE, graphite, and compressed non-asbestos sheet products. Soft gaskets are used in a wide range of applications from pipe flange, heat exchanger, compressor and bonnet valve gaskets to name just a few.

We offer Gaskets made of following soft gasket materials:

Biaxially Orientated PTFE Sheet
Flexible Graphite Sheet
Non-Asbestos Sheet
Joint Sealant
Natural Rubber
SBR (Styrene-Butadiene)
CR (Chloroprene) (Neoprene)
Buna-N-Rubber (Nitrile, NBR)
Fluorocarbon (Viton)
Hypalon (Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene)
Silicones
EPDM (Ethylene Propylene-Diene Monomer)
Grafoil
Ceramic Fiber
Plastics
PTFE Envelope Gaskets
Vegetable Fiber Sheet

Properties and Application

Non-Metallic or flat gaskets are the most typical ones from the family of flat static gaskets. They are used in large number by various industries and in a variety of applications. The PROMPT soft gaskets are made of non-asbestos, graphite, PTFE, mica, aramide/graphite and rubber sealing materials. Available are standard and non–standard gasket designs. Non-standard means gaskets of optional shapes and dimensions according to customer design or sample.

Size and Construction

Non-Metallic gaskets are produced in several sizes and shapes to meet the most demanding applications. They are available in standard and non–standard gasket design. Non-standard means gasket to Customer’s specification and for their specific application.

Dimensions

The dimensions of our standard gaskets meet the requirements of the EN 1514-1 ( former DIN 2690, DIN 2691, DIN 2692), ANSI B16.21 or other standards. Gaskets of up to 1,500 mm x 1,500 mm are made from one piece, while larger ones are assembled from segments.
Two kind of splicing are used: dove-tail and bevelled (practically there is no limitation regarding gasket dimension). Gaskets as per customer's specific requirements can also be manufactured irrespective of the quantity required.
